I did a quick Google search and this came up. Give it a try and let me know how you get on.

The Folder Pane displays all folders in Outlook. If the Folder Pane is minimized, you won’t be able to see your folders. There are two ways you can view the Folder Pane.

1.

Hi,

We have a new laptop and would like to access our Talktalk email via Outlook 365 (on the old laptop we used Windows mail). Our old emails are helpfully filed under folders which we can see if we login to the webmail and would like this mirrored on Outlook 365 but when adding account it puts everything just in the Inbox. Please help

Hi Ady,

Thanks for the message. I've followed the instructions and it is still putting all the emails together in the Inbox and not emulating any of the sub folders with contents that we have.

What next?

Another Google search shows this.

Why are my subfolders not showing in Outlook 365?

Try resetting the folder view. Press the Win+R keys to open the Run dialog box. Then, type outlook.exe /cleanviews and click the OK button. If that doesn't work, please try to create a new profile in the Outlook client to check if there are any differences.27 Nov 2023

Hi Ady,

Thanks for the suggestion however the outlook.exe/cleanviews came up with a prompt to say it couldn't find it.

I do however have good news and am including it here in case anyone else experiences the same problem. I fixed it by following: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/choose-which-imap-account-folders-appear-in-outlook-32103602-a568-4499-9d25-54fe236aee6a#:~:text=1%20In%20Mail%2C%20in%20the%20Navigation%20Pane%2C%20right-click,and%20then%20click%20Subscribe%20or%20Unsubscribe.%20See%20More

Hope this helps.
