Hi jadebarton36,

How are you getting on? As Keith has said upgrading to Full Fibre wouldn't have any impact on your email service

Good afternoon.

i upgraded to full fibre on wednesday. As soon as engineer had finished installing. my tiscali email both on outlook on my laptop and on android phone stopped working. and now keep asking for email and passwords.

customer service has been useless.

first telling me there is no change so it isnt talk talk issue when it clearly is.

Now telling me i cant access emails via third parties as i am on a basic package. im on full fibre 500. emails should work as normal. But i am getting nowhere. I really wish id used a different provider as never had a issue with normal broadband with talk talk.

Can anyone advise how i get my emails to work again? as im losing the will chatting to customer services who arent helping.

The change should have had no impact on email at all. However, you are clearly having issues. Are you using the correct settings for your account on each device? These are the basic settings:-

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/Email-settings-to-access-TalkTalk-emails/ta-p/2204399

If you are configured correctly, then I will escalate this to TalkTalk for you, none of their Tech Support staff will be available on this forum until tomorrow.

H Keith, so my settings were set to and working as: .tiscali.co.uk

ive tried changing the settings now to .talktalk.net and its basically saying server rejected your login now. where before it was just the same pop up. they have advised to clear cache so il try that but not convinced.

ive been on the chat with tech people today and back and forth since wednesday. going mad!
