An email I received today at 15:47 advised me about a recent upgrade in your SSL server asking me to update my login details in order to enjoy the new upgrade. It also said that I would be blocked from sending and receiving emails if not confirmed within 48hrs of receiving this automated mail using a link provided for me to do so.

Please advise me if this email was sent by yourselves or is it a scam?

Normally any post of this type is a scam and can be ignored.

Is it personally addressed? If not delete.

If you are concerned, check the senders email address and it probably won't be anything to do with TalkTalk.

Also, without clicking the link, hover over is and the link address should show and again wont be a TalkTalk link.

Personally I ignore all such mails.
