topic Delayed e-mail receipt in Email

I need to open a secure email. the sender asks for a passcode, and sends an e-mail to enter it within 15 minutes. The snag is that although I get an instant message saying that a code has been sent, it does not appear in my incoming e-mail. Strangely, when I turned on this W11 computer a couple of hours ago, about 5 of my previous attempts suddenly appeared, but of course they are long expired and not useable. Any ideas?

Like with signing into the community, the vital email can get delayed, @Anton4.

I find that kidding your email address that you want to check back emails from so'nso@ whatever.com draws up the latest one with the others, so keeps me within the time limit. Give it a try!

I finally manged to contact the group in question and they sent me an ordinary e-mail with the required info.. No comment on the original problem. I am not pursuing this issue further.
