Hi Andi, have you checked all your devices that have mail clients active in case they've downloaded the mails? Are they the only mails that have gone missing? As TalkTalk don't provide mail backup we recommend customers keep their own backups. If the mails are gone from our servers there's nothing we can do to help.

Hi

2 x very important emails have gone missing.

They came into my Inbox around 23rd August. They are nowhere to be found. In case I have filed them in the correct folder already I have searched "All Folders" from the sender. Nothing.

How do I get them back? and any others that have also gone missing?

thanks

Andi

Hi Ady,

Yes checked all devices - not sure if other emails have gone missing but these 2 are important and they have gone. I had created new folders for these projects and they are both empty. Can't remember whether I'd moved them to the new folders or not - but would have thought I did as soon as I created them.

Is it possible that something is wrong with the folders ? or maybe I had not moved them and they should still be in the inbox until I actually book the flights.

Anything else I can check?

Is there a way to move the contents of my folders to another email provider ? or completely download the folders complete with name of folder and contents?

Thanks for your help

Andi

Hi Andi, we don't offer backups, but there's plenty of advice on how to store/backup important mails out there. Its just a case of picking one that suits you best. I would strongly advice backing up your emails before moving them to avoid losing more.
