IP address is blacklisted

I have received emails which "undelivered mail returned to sender. Reason is anti spam engine has blocked this email because the sender IP 550 address is black listed. I went to a website "What's my IP address and carried out a Blacklist check. Two sites came up as black listing my IP address. b.barracudacentral.org and dnsbl-2.uceprotect.net Both suggest that it is not my personal IP address that is blocked but the ISP TalkTalk due to poor control of spam etc. They suggest that I contact Talk talk and ask them to sort this out! I do receive a huge number of spam or phishing emails. Mostly pretending to be TalkTalk accounts or IT desk. I send them all to report@phishing.gov.uk TalkTalk should be able to block any emails which have Talk talk in the title before they reach my email address. This is really poor on their part. I believe this may be the result of an earlier hack of data at TalkTalk which makes it even more their responsibility to block all these dangerous emails.

Hi fareastrader1, I took a look on Have I Been Pwned: Check if your email has been compromised in a data breach and it seems your email address has been harvested in 7 different data breaches at 7 different companies. Have you tried turning off your router overnight to refresh the IP address and then trying to send again?

I looked at these data breaches and many of them appear very old apart from Shoe zone. What are you doing to stop all the TalkTalk scam emails that i receive every day?? It should be very easy for you to block any emails incoming that contain TalkTalk that are not sent by you!

The site i looked at suggested it was poor security by the ISP (TalkTalk)

I'm told that our security and email teams are working with Open Xchange to resolve the phishing mail issue. Hopefully, you will see a reduction in spam and phishing mail.
