Address book dissapered

I recently linked my samsung phone to samsung tablet and after this process, i went onto my talk talk email address book and it appears i have lost a lot of my contacts and am not able to find a way to retrieve them. Could you support with this please?

Have you recently had an email, purporting to be from TalkTalk asking you to confirm your account and if so, did you follow the link?

If so then your account may have been compromised as losing addresses seems to be a common factor.

In any event, secure your account by changing your password to one you have not previously used.

Then export your address list so you don't lose the remainder of your contacts.

Have you ever previously backed this up?

Do you use Gmail, Hotmail or another alternative account? If so are your contacts duplicated there?

Run a virus and malware check on affected devices.

Set up your recovery email and phone number in case you are locked out.

Check that no mail forwarding has been set up.

You may also start to receive message undeliverable notices if spammers are using or spoofing your email address.

I may be wide if the mark here, and if so apologies.

Are you accessing via an email sppbir using Webmail? If the former, try logging into webmail to see if your addresses are there.
