For those of you who had been with the PO for a number of years before being moved to Shell and then onto Talk Talk this may be the end of the line for your email if you need to change to a new PC/Laptop. I have finally bought a new Laptop and wanted to move my PO email onto the new machine. I have 2 old machines one running Windows Live 2012 the other Outlook 2010.

To use email on the new machine I need to use either New Outlook or Windows Mail.

I have been trying for 2 days with various configurations of Incoming / Outgoing server details taken from my old machines but nothing would work. I phoned Talk Talk who kindly told me they couldn't give them to me. When pushed they said they didn't know them. I then contacted support from where I purchased my me new laptop. Very helpful. Tried numerous option in both Outlook and Mail and came to the conclusion that there was no simple fix for this.

So if you have contacts stored within your PO account that you would like to keep act sooner rather than later in moving your details. Talk Talk do not want to know or help in any way.

Unless of course someone else knows differently.

Hi @Bowling

Windows Mail & Calendar will stop working tomorrow & the only included email client within Windows that will work after the 31/12/2024 is the new Outlook for Windows. What domain of email address are you using?

Hi Bowling, when you call you have to ask for the Shell migration team. They have access to the tools and information for the Shell email accounts ONLY the migration team can help.
