Hello,

Since around September 2024 I have been receiving upto 20 spam or phishing emails a day.

Before that it was reletively rare to get anything out the way on my talktalk account.

I have 2 other acounts that are rarely affected, both from talktalk and all three are used with Office 19 email client.

Every time I report an email, it seems to trigger even more incoming mail. I do report every one I find to phishing@talktalk and to report@phishing.gov.uk but it is becoming a monotonous task to troll through the mail looking for suspect emails. Why the massive increase of late, and only on my main (account management ) account? There does not seem any common denominator to the source of these emails. Many cannot be forwarded directly, so I have to copy them onto a folder on my desktop then add them to an email. Does this cause extra vunerability as they are on the computer for some time before they can be sent then deleted?

Many have calendar attachments lately. Is there a way to block any such mail?

Is there any other authority to report this stuff to?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Dangerous2a, have you added them to your blocked list? If you highlight the mail and select add sender to the blocklist.
