TT is my ISP, but my emails go via inbox.com, and have done perfectly for 15 years. However, yesterday I found that I was being blocked, with advice to look at https://check.spamhaus.org/results/?query=79.79.251.193 for help. I don't understand what this site is saying, other than TT should be able tro unblock the IP address. Any help or advice from anybody welcome, please

Hi PeterM44, are you able to send mail from webmail? Can you send directly from an email client or app?

Webmail works perfectly, but outgoing email using Thunderbird mail client will not work. The message from spamhaus seems to indicate that the problem is the IP address - can this me changed?

Hi, yes webmail is perfect for send and receive. It seems that Inbox.com has some sort of objection to my IP address - can it be changed?

I have tried setting up my email from scratch through my mail client (Thunderbird) but each time it fails, with an error message indicating that either the smtp server setting is wrong, the wrong port is being used or the password is incorrect. I am using the smtp server settings which previously worked, and have not changed the PW, which works with webmail. Advice, please?

Can you send through a mobile device that's not connected to your TalkTalk router using a mail client?

Then your best bet is to turn off the router for an hour or overnight if you can afford to. That will issue a new IP to your connection.
