Hacked email - no access to recovery email

Hello,

My email address was hacked last week and the hacker sent emails to all my saved email addresses asking for money!
I have pressed forgotten password where an email was sent to a recovery email address which I have no access to.

i went onto live chat via here and the lady confirmed I will receive a text in 24 hrs to reset. I still do not have this text or unable to reset my password via forgetting password tab. I confirmed with her my up to date number and a new recovery email.
Is there anything else I can do? I have important emails on this account but having no luck with resetting it all!

Please complete your community forum profile details, @EmmaWyborn.

The support staff on the forum will need that in order to identify your account.

Please go via your avatar; settings. Add your Talktalk phone number or account number in Personal Information. Further down that area, in PRIVATE NOTES clearly indicate the email address that has been hacked and the recovery email address. SAVE CHANGES.

Forum staff respond on here during the day, Monday to Friday.

@EmmaWyborn, in addition, run some antivirus software on all your devices and check for malware.
