How is it going @ltk007 ?

Are you able to see all your TalkTalk email addresses within the new TalkTalk 'Mailbox Manager'?

You said you were able to login into the Mailbox Manager with one of your TalkTalk email addresses.

When you were logged in, were you able to add any of the other TalkTalk email addresses into the Mailbox Manager?

Since you were able to login , that email address that you used, would have been marked as 'ADMIN'. And that should allow you to make changes, and add other TalkTalk email addresses.

edit: 'if I amend the account password to the Email Manager'. The Email Manager does not have its own password. Any password only belongs to its own email address. Having an email address and its paired password, will let you into the Email Manager, but only if that email address is already listed within the Email Manager, and is already marked as 'ADMIN'.

As you say, it could have to do with it being an older email address.

I don't have any very old email address. So I can't test that.

Bill

Hi,

Having waited months for the new "TalkTalk mailbox manager" to be released I have been unable to login into my mailbox manager account which worked fine prior to the upgrade.

I believe the issue is related to having a @gateway.net domain on the primary email address.

I receive the following error "You are not allowed to sign in" however if I amend the email domain to @talktalk.net I receive the following "The username or password is incorrect".

I do not have a talktalk.net domain email address.

Any ideas how this can be resolved as I need to delete an associated email address?

thanks

Hi, @ltk007

There are 2 "TalkTalk mailbox managers" . That's a misnamed title. They are really "TalkTalk Email Addresses managers"

To go to the old one, go here, https://service.talktalk.co.uk/manage-email

To go to the new one go here, https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/myaccount/?#/login

They are both still current

So, which of the 2 are you talking about?

Bill

TBH I have no idea what TT have done here.

I finally managed to log into the account using a very old email address using the second link. However when I log in I do not see any other associated email addresses. To add to this if I amend the account password to the Email Manager it changes the password to my main mailbox which I access via TT web mail.

All I want to do is to delete one of the associated email addresses as it is no longer required. Why is it so difficult?

This links to the new 'Mailbox Manager'.

As you were able to log into it, that's a success. Leave that as is. Don't change it for the time being.

How many other TalkTalk email accounts do you have, and do you know their full email addresses and their corresponding passwords?

If you do, try logging in to the new Mailbox Manager, with each of those other email addresses.

It might work and it might not.

The new 'Mailbox Manager', is still not completely functioning. That's why it's difficult

Bill
