I used to have the choice of what cookies could be used. Now my password is automatically in place so anyone could open my emails. Why has the cookie choice gone?

If a user has previously accepted cookies on that site, the website may not show the banner again, depending on how it manages cookie consent.

Can you please enter or login to the webmail afresh and see if this will work.

It sounds like you have saved your password in your browser password manager.

On the logon screen highlight your email address and delete it. The click in the field and you should get the option to select it. Underneath you should see a manage passwords link. Click on this.

You will be promoted to input your pc master password. Input this and the password manager will open.

If it doesn't open on the webmail password search for this in the search box.

Once you've clicked on the password you should then have the option to edit or delete.

If you want to have your email prefilled with no password click edit and delete the password and save. If you don't want either, then delete.

Restart your browser and the fields should not be prefilled. Input your info and if prompted to save click never.

Hope this helps and is the answer to the issue you are having.

Please let us know how you get on.
