I run a website for a small rowing club, we use mailman to route emails but many of the talktalk users are complaining they cannot send emails because our mail server rejects the connection due to there poor reputation.

How can I report this to get the issue resolved and reputation improved?

JunkMail rejected - vsmx004.tt.xion.oxcs.net (vsmx009.tt.xion.oxcs.net) [153.92.124.240]:31234 is in an RBL: RBL match: 2 - Details: https://malware.expert/srbl?srbl=153.92.124.240

JunkMail rejected - vsmx003.tt.xion.oxcs.net (vsmx006.tt.xion.oxcs.net) [153.92.124.143]:34775 is in an RBL: RBL match: 2 - Details: https://malware.expert/srbl?srbl=153.92.124.143

The email is being sent from a talktalk user into our mail server (managed by hosting company) this checks the sending server reputation to reduce spam/attack and because these servers have poor reputation the emails get rejected, you can check this using the links I included in the original message.

can you look to get this improved so genuine emails deliver correctly.

I understand. So, we will be able to look into this matter should we get a client (one of our customers currently using the TalkTalk domain) to inform us about this matter. Alternatively, on your end, I will suggest for you to check on the following steps:

1) Check Your IP Reputation: Use online tools like MXToolbox, SenderScore, or Talos Intelligence to check the reputation of your mail server's IP address. This will help you understand if your IP is blacklisted or has a poor reputation.

2) Request Delisting from Blacklists: If your IP is listed on any blacklists, follow the procedures to request delisting. Each blacklist has its own process, which usually involves filling out a form and providing information about your mail server and practices.

3) Improve Email Practices: Ensure that your email practices comply with best practices to improve your reputation:

Use SPF (Sender Policy Framework) and DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) to authenticate your emails.

Regularly clean your mailing list to remove inactive or invalid email addresses.

Monitor bounce rates and complaints, and take action to address any issues.

4) Monitor Feedback Loops: Sign up for feedback loops with major ISPs. This will help you receive notifications when users mark your emails as spam, allowing you to take corrective action.

Thanks,

It’s your mail server that has a poor reputation not mine our server is rejecting connections from you because it’s been listed as a bad actor.

Our server rejecting your incoming mail already has SDIF, DKIM etc.

check these two servers of yours

https://malware.expert/srbl?srbl=153.92.124.240

https://malware.expert/srbl?srbl=153.92.124.143
