I am sick and fed up of receiving spam mail , at least a dozen every day most seem to have addresses linked to Amazon or Aws in their address the rest seems to be just random offering free gifts etc.

I spoke to a talk talk person on chat and they said forward spam mail to spam@talktalk.co.uk.

I have been doing that but I am still receiving the same amount, I would like to know if anything is being done about this matter.

How do you access your email? Via Webmail or an email client. Have you tried right-clicking spam and marking it as spam (or Junk, as some clients might call it)? Normally, you do have to train their email spam algorithms.

Hi there. We're sorry to hear this. If you're using our TalkTalk mail, then it's really easy: you can either select multiple emails from the inbox, or from inside the email you can select the Mark as Spam button at the top. This will be investigated and if seen as spam then it will be blocked.

It is so time consuming and as I said to Keith French most of them have some reference in their address to Amazon ( aws ).

I am so frustrated by this I don't really want to change my email address but is that the only way to stop this ?

Regards

Izzywhit

I have been having the same issue for years. Occasionally I spend days reporting each spam email, but they just keep coming - even similar one to which I forwarded on. I have given up!

Now, I have discovered that talktalk are sending simple text only emails from my family (and others) to spam, at the server end. This means they never arrive on my PC or phone. They are only discovered if I check spam, on the webmail - which I never routinely go on.

How can there filters let obvious spam through and filter out one sentence emails from family!
