      <description>&lt;P&gt;If they are not showing up in webmail and there's no sign of them in the recycle bin, they are gone for good, &lt;a href="https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/596351"&gt;@caravancookie&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It's something that appears to happen occasionally with Talktalk emails so always make a habit of keeping copies in another format / back up elsewhere if anything could be really important.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Have you by any chance clicked on a link within an email that asked for your password?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Losing emails, and especially contacts can be symptom of a malicious attack.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Just to be safe I'd suggest running a virus and malware scan and then reset your password to the email account.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you haven't done so I'd recommend setting up recovery email and phone numbers on your Email account.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As &lt;a href="https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/46686"&gt;@Gliwmaeden2&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;says, once they have been deleted, unfortunately they have gone.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
