&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have been doing more work on this and I am not convinced this is actually a TalkTalk issue. It looks like something has caused the SMTP mail server (outgoing emails) password to be erased in the email client. Alternatively, your email address can be reported as being incorrect.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thunderbird is simple; putting the password back seems to have resolved the issue.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;New Outlook for Windows can be a bit more complex. For more details, please see my post #20 in this thread of mine:-&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I also have the problem that my email account is inaccessible. I have repeatedly tried to log on but all I get is a buffering signal.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Ok on my phone but cannot log in via gogle chrome on my computer - just get he buffering signal.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
