I need to link an active email address to my Talktalk broadband account (apparently you can have up to 5 email addresses and therefore should avoid having to pay a fee to access your email account from 28th July). I have taken the home broadband account over from my father who recently passed away, his email address seems to have been deleted from the account and so he has now received an email about the new fee. I have tried calling Talktalk for help and been advised they are unable to do this for me and that I have to do it myself. I have tried to do this but I am finding it difficult to do so. Can anyone at Talktalk link my fathers email address to my account so I can still access it?

Hey there, @POLLYPAULA. We'd love to assist in that. What we need clarity on first is, the main email account associated with your broadband did it receive any comms about subscribing to Everymail?

No, my email address didn't receive anything about subscribing to everymail but the other email address did, and I think that is because the talktalk account was in my father's name but it was transferred to me after he passed away. His email address must have been deleted off the account and would appear now not to be linked to the broadband account and that is why he has received the email about the charge
