E-mail account hacked and e-mail and e-mails deleted

My e-mail account was hacked today and all e-mails have been deleted.

Is there a way to recover these?

There is nothing in the trash/Bin?

No, sorry, but once gone they can't be recovered.

Have you got control of your account?

If so then change your password immediately to one you have not used before. If you use the email / password combination on any other websites, change these passwords too.

If possible log out of the email and log out on all devices, to keep the hacker out of your account.

If you still have your contacts, export these so you have them offline, as hackers will use these and sometimes delete these as well as your emails.

Run a virus scan on your device and also a malware scan. I use the free version of malwarebytes

Did you click on any links within emails to confirm your account as this is the prime way hackers get control. Don't click on links within mails unless you are absolutely sure it's fpm a legitimate source.
