I was hacked yesterday on my Tiscali e mail address and at least 1 person has now paid £250 thinking it was me! And they out of all my contacts can least afford it. My query is that the hackers cleared out my inbox and my sent emails, this means that everything current has vanished from my PC, my iPad and from Talk Talk webmail. Is there any way this can be restored by Talk Talk?

Hi @grahams2546 the scam victim should contact their bank, they are very helpful in these matters.

As for your emails, the team will check this for you when they return to work on Monday

your post has been escalated and you should hear soon. In the meantime please check your community profile and add your landline number and/or account number so your account can be identified. Please don't post personal information here.

I would also suggest you check closely the settings on your email account, particularly rules and auto forwarding. Finally you have changed your password? 😁 🔑

You need to change the password immediately and run antivirus / malwarebytes software on ALL devices, @grahams2546.

What a nuisance for you! When emails are gone, they are absolutely gone, if they were also removed from the recycle bin.

Talktalk doesn't have your emails backed up anywhere, so customers are expected to store important things in their own backups.
