We've seen customers mention that staff on the phone and chat don't seem to know the procedure to associate account and emails.

This should have been well documented following the issues experiend following the last trawl of the database and the mismatches that were found then

For info the procedure was as follows and customers may like to mention this if they have issues.

There is a form that was required to be completed by staff and sent to the email team with details of your current account number and all emails you have to associate them to the correct account number.

Everymail transition

Current Broadband Customers.

If you have received an email regarding changes to your Email, or are seeing a banner when logging into WebMail, and you are a Broadband customer, please note that if you provide the required information you will not be charged and your email address(es) will be associated with your Broadband Account.

Unfortunately, support staff are no longer available here and this will require you contact TalkTalk directly as the forum is now peer to peer and this is something we are, on this occasion, unable to help you with.
Please see the link in my signature for ways to contact TalkTalk.

Note though, that if you have signed up to Everymail and are an existing customer it is not possible to reverse the transfer to Everymail.

Note 2 April 10th 2026. TalkTalk inadvertently sent out an email to existing customers and issued an apology which can be found here.

You might though wish to double check the status of your emails and you can do this by signing into Mailbox Manager, and if all of your emails are shown there, your emails should be fine.

Non Broadband Customers

If you are, not a current broadband customer and you wish to retain access to your Email addresses then your only option going forward is to subscribe to Everymail.

Please note that TalkTalk staff have no access to Everymail Systems and are unable to offer advice if you need to transfer to them.

Thank you.
