Update Wednesday 3pm: Openreach have confirmed work is progressing well to restore services levels to pre-storm levels for repair activities.

Due to the recent severe weather caused by Storm Amy, Openreach has declared MBORC (Matters Beyond Our Reasonable Control) in the following areas:

Northern Ireland (copper and fibre services)

Highlands and Islands (copper services)

West Central Scotland (copper services)

Heavy rain and strong winds have caused significant damage to parts of the network. As a result, MBORC has been declared for repair activities in the affected areas.

Openreach is working to restore service as quickly as possible, and we’ll keep you updated with the latest developments.
