Identifying your router

If you're having trouble figuring out whether you have a Wi-Fi Hub or an eero at home, there's a couple of things you can check if you can't see the router itself (for example, if you're away from home or the router is hidden behind large furniture).

  • If you're on one of our Copper or Part-Fibre plans, you'll likely be using a Wi-Fi Hub. If you're on one of our Full Fibre plans, you'll likely be using an eero.
  • You can log in to My Account to find out which plan you're on.
  • You can check one of your previous Bill emails, which has an option to view your package.

Top tips

Setting up your new equipment closer to your router at first will allow them to establish a connection.
You can always experiment with the positioning of your equipment for best coverage and speed once they are set up.

NOT STRETCHING FAR ENOUGH?

If you've moved your equipment around and you're still not getting coverage everywhere you need it, you might need more eeros or Wi-Fi Boosters in your home network. To sign up for Total Home Wi-Fi or to request additional equipment for your home, you'll need to speak to one of our friendly team – chat to us to add or update your package with Total Home Wi-Fi.
