Boosts are our way of helping you customise your package to suit your needs. Whether it's TV, phone or security on your mind, we've got a Boost to match.
You can manage your account and Boosts online in My Account.
Adding a phone boost
- Login to My Account
- Choose Profile & Settings from the navigation menu
- Select My Telephone Settings from the dropdown menu
- Now choose the Boosts you'd like to add by ticking the boxes next to them
- When you're happy, scroll to the bottom of the page and choose the Update button
- We'll then give you a summary of the Boosts you've opted in for. Choose Confirm again to save your changes
Please note It can take up to two days for your Boosts to be activated. We'll let you know by email when they're ready to use.
Removing your phone boosts
- Login to My Account
- Choose Profile & Settings from the toolbar
- Select My Telephone Settings from the dropdown menu
- Choose the boosts you'd like to remove by unticking the boxes next to them.
- When you're happy, scroll to the bottom of the page and choose the Update button.
- We'll then give you a summary of the Boosts you've opted out of. Choose Confirm to save your changes.
Add SuperSafe Boost
- Log into My Account
- Select My Package from the Dashboard page
- Under My broadband, select My security settings
- Find the SuperSafe Boost option in the list, and select the level of protection you want (1 device or 8 devices)
- A new window will open. To save your changes choose the Confirm Order button
Please note: It can take a few days for your SuperSafe Boost to be activated. You’ll receive an email from our security partner F-Secure with your username, temporary password and download link.
Removing your Supersafe boost
- Login to My Account
- Select My Package from the Dashboard page
- Under My broadband, select My security settings
- Select the SuperSafe Boost option in the list, and tick the box next to No protection
- A new window will open. Select Remove all protection to deactivate your SuperSafe Boost
Checking which boosts you already have
- Log into My Account
- Select My Package from the Dashboard page
- Under My add-ons, select Manage add-ons.
- You'll see a tick in the box next to every active Boost on your home phone
How these changes will be reflected on your bill
When you add a Boost, your next bill will include charges from the date you added the Boost up to the date of your bill. Boosts are charged in advance, so you'll also see the full month's charge for the Boost for next month too.
If you remove a Boost, your next bill will include a credit from the date you removed the Boost up to the date of your bill. If you removed the Boost within the one month commitment period, you'll see a charge for the time the Boost was active plus a commitment breakage fee for the remainder of the one month term.
Currently we don't have any Boosts to our TalkTalk PLUS plans. We're working hard in the background to ensure we can offer our TV and voice services as soon as possible.
