As technology moves forward and content providers develop new and exciting features on their service, some functions and apps will no longer be supported on our older TV boxes.
We will continue to invest in new technology, like our TalkTalk TV Hub that will deliver a brilliant TV experience and embracing all the new features like 4K, downloadable apps, voice control and screencasting to name a few.
The TalkTalk TV Box is included in the monthly access fee for TalkTalk TV. We don't currently sell any of our TalkTalk TV boxes separately. However, you can check for any upgrade or renewal options available to you in My Account. Alternatively, if you need to order a replacement box or discuss any upgrade options, please contact us.

- Depending on the remote you have, press the Menu or youview button
- Press the up arrow to select Settings
- Select Device Information
- You'll find displayed the Model, Manufacturer, Serial Number and Identifier for your TalkTalk TV box

We're aware of a playback issue where content can't currently be played. The App opens successfully but when selecting content, a spinner is shown. We are working with the content providers on a fix for this issue.
From the 7th November 2024 Netflix removed their app from our TalkTalk TV and TalkTalk TV Plus Boxes. This does not affect the TalkTalk TV Hub or TalkTalk TV 4K Box.
We know this can be frustrating, but Netflix are doing this to ensure you maintain the best possible Netflix viewing experience. As app technology changes, TV content suppliers like Netflix are unable to continue to support their steaming services on older technology.
Customers wanting to use Netflix with the full TalkTalk TV experience should consider upgrading to our new TalkTalk TV Hub and TV package. You can check for any upgrade or renewal options available to you in My Account. Alternatively, if you want to discuss any upgrade options, please contact us.
You can still enjoy Netflix with their latest features on thousands of TVs, phones, tablets, and computers. Please visit Netflix for their complete device list.
From the 1st May 2024, the BritBox app is no longer available. After this date, the only way to watch BritBox will be with an ITVX Premium subscription. Please see the Youview website for more information.
On the 30th November 2023 ITV closed the ITV Hub and ended support of the service. This change by ITV only affected customers using our older TalkTalk TV Box and TalkTalk TV Plus Box (DN372T).
Customers who use our TalkTalk TV 4K box, or the TalkTalk TV Hub, are not affected by this. These latest TV Boxes are fully compatible with the new ITVX service.
