TalkSafe is a simpler, smarter and safer way of identifying you when you call us. By creating a voiceprint, a bit like a fingerprint for your voice, we can verify that it's you on the phone without having to ask any security questions. Your voiceprint is unique, and TalkSafe is able to differentiate between you and an imposter.
TalkSafe is completely free and will give you much greater security. It's much quicker than answering security questions, and you won't need to remember any passwords. Once we've recognised your voice you'll be through to an advisor, and we won't need to ask you any additional security questions.
Once you've registered you'll be asked to say "with TalkSafe, my voice is my password" to verify it's you who's calling. When the security check is complete you'll be straight through to an advisor who'll be able to immediately help you with any queries you may have.
It's incredibly secure. When you set it up we convert your voice into a digital code that can only be read by TalkSafe. The digital code, also known as a voiceprint, is one of the most secure forms of identification. Your voiceprint is unique to you, so there's no way someone can guess a password or pretend to be you.
There's no need to call us to set up TalkSafe, if you need to contact us at any point you'll be given the chance to set up this extra level of security. If you're speaking to one of our advisors just let them know that you'd like to register and they'll get you set up. We'll never call you and ask you to register for TalkSafe.

Your voice has thousands of unique characteristics and the voiceprint uses this information to create your unique voiceprint. The next time you call us, TalkSafe will listen to your voice and match it to your voiceprint to recognise who you are.
There can be up to 5 TalkSafe users on your account. As long as you can answer the security questions then you can go through the setup process.

Just let us know that you don't want to register and we'll leave it at that. There's no requirement to register but doing so will improve your security, and you won't need to remember any passwords or go through security checks when you call, so we recommend you set it up.
