Cant Register for Online Billing

Hello Everyone,

I've been a TalkTalk customer myself for a few years now, and have been trying to get my parents (also a customer from the early days pre-Orange) to get up to date with the online portal, as its easy to sort out their issues that way. 

I've tried assisting with this (as I work in the IT industry) but I seem to be having an issue where the email used for account verification no longer exists. 

As i'm a representative for them, is there anything I can do to help change it to a different email for them, or failing that, what is the best way for them to get the email address change where the verification goes (or even better - can they text it to the mobile on the account, which should be the same number they have now). Any help in the right direction will be greatly appreciated, as they are happy to stay with talktalk, but just need to upgrade their line!

Just to clarify, Are they already registered, but cant log in?  

 

On the forgotten password link there is an option to send an SMS.
