12 Month broadband pre-payed

Hi, My previous contract had expired and I accepted the pre-payed 12 month fibre35 broadband offer. I see the payment has been credited against the forthcoming January bill (under the old contract) instead of being set against payment for the new contract. How do I get this changed?

Thanks. This problem has now been resolved by TalkTalk staff.
