Hi, can you tell me if this 3 days grace period exists? after the payment due date.

 

And will I be charged a late payment fee?

Check your MyAccount next week and if the billing system has slipped in a late payment fee I'm sure that Siyabonga or one of the billing colleagues will reverse it.

 

Interesting fact: The South African given name Siyabonga means "Thanks".

Hi Gondola,

I used the link you provided to chat with TT and they sorted it.

Chat: [Siyabonga]
"Thank you for your patience.
After looking into the account I do see that as the bill was paid on the 28/01/2020,
you would not be charged a late payment fee as the bill was not paid after 3 days."

Still might need confirmation.

I've not seen mention of a 3 days' grace period. I believe that if the payment that's due by a given date isn't credited to your account by that due date then the billing system does apply a £12.50 late payment fee.

 

I think you would need to ask TalkTalk in advance to give you some days' grace. See if they're willing to make an exception as you paid pretty swiftly after the due date was missed.
