Bill date and Upgrade on same date

My billing date is 1st of each month, yesterday my upgrade from Fibre 65 to Future Fibre 150 data only was installed and went live. I've got 3 months free on the new service.

My newly generated bill has charged me for the month of Fibre 65 to Dec 31st.

So am I correct in assuming a new bill will be generated once the FF 150 upgrade is processed on my account and I won't be charged for Decembers Fibre 65, except for maybe a day or two pro rata?

Thanks for the reply - I'll just keep an eye on it then - I always 'preload' my account with the next months fee so the account is always in credit and as soon as the bill is generated it's paid instantly on effect.

The new bill would have been worked out over the past 48 hours, so a couple of days before you got it in your inbox, @djbdane.

 

They always bill 30 days ahead, so any "correction" will show next month.

 

They couldn't change the accounting ahead of the upgrade in case it didn't go ahead etc.

 

Keep an eye on it next month!
