Cancellation fee after terrible service

Since I signed up with talktalk my internet has been cutting out all day, every day (literally). I contacted them multiple times via chat, phone and email only for the problem to remain. I stopped bothering and cancelled my account and now I have an email for a charge of £166.67. How do I go about disputing this as well as getting my money back for the month I was with them? Thanks

If you would like us to look into this, please can you update your community profile to include your home telephone number, we will then be able to have a look at your  account.

To do this go into 'my settings' then 'personal information' then add your details.

Did you give TalkTalk at least 30 days to resolve the issue? Did they subsequently agree that you could leave without penalty?
