Charged After Cancelling

Hello 

My account shows disconnected after I cancelled in end of November/December.  I have been charged a disconnection fee of £43.93 and also been charged this month for £21.46. I don't appear to have received a final bill either. Can someone explain this to me please?

    • Name
    • Telephone number
    • Alternative contact number

Very hard to tell from these figures alone, @Sazagee.

 

Early termination fees per month look like this:

But there might be part of a month in there. You can check details and the precise breakdown in your My Account. These would be applied if you were still in contract. 

 

If out of contract, Talktalk would simply have needed 30 days' notice. They always charge a month ahead, so it can take a further month to get a bill that adjusts for that, and only after that, a bill for £0.00.

 

What were you paying per month before?

 

How did you cancel? Did they send a confirmation email at the time etc?

Go via your avatar/name; settings; launch profile wizard.
