Confused about my bill

Hi All,

So we had some long standing issues with our speeds that talktalk took a while to resolve. 

 

Once it was sorted I had a text message from TT to say that i would recieve £48 compensation.

 

So my July bill was discounted by £24, and I was expected the August bill to also be discounted by £24 to complete the £48. But my August bill is back to the usual price.

 

Anyone else experienced this? Do they usually spread them out?

 

My contract is expiring in a few months and i don't want to renew until I've got what they promised me.

I have checked your account: 

 

15/06 bill = £24.95
16/06 credit +48.36 clears outstanding June balance leaving £23.41 in credit
15/07 bill 24.95  the remaining credit is used leaving balance outstanding as £1.54 
15/08 bill £24.95 Paid 23.08

 

So the £48 credit was used against your June/July bills 

 

Hope that clears it up for you.

Have you checked the Transaction history in My Account to see what credit has actually been applied there?
