Delayed Switch Compensation

Hi,

I'd just like to check that auto compensation will be triggered for the delay to the start of my Service after switching to Talk Talk.

The start date was 4th August. At 20:15 Openreach texted to say it was done, was it working? Neither phone or internet was working. Several replies to automated questions later I was told to contact TT. I couldn't do that until next day as chat wasn't working and phone line closed.

Next day spent 45 minutes on the phone before another Openreach engineer was booked for next day.

So on the 6th, at about 12:00 I got my broadband and phone working. Separate faults with each in different places.

Thanks for your post. 

 

In this instance auto compensation is not applicable as the fault was fixed within the 72 hour SLA agreed with Openreach, However for the delay I will apply a gesture of good will as an apology.
