I received an email informing me I had missed a returns deadline yesterday and would incur a £50 charge on my next bill. Apparently TalkTalk have been in touch to remind me of the return over the past few weeks, but this is the first email I've seen!
I had a router go faulty around 08/04/22, returned the faulty router soon after and as no follow up messages were sent other than the forum post replies, I assumed this had all been resolved.
Is there anything that can be done about this, I no longer have any proof of return as it all looked to be resolved over a month a go...

Ok , we will need to see if a charge is applied, if it does let me know.

There are no pending charges showing on the account, The letters/emails are triggered by the returns bags.
Did you make a note of the tracking number on the bag?

This is something that TalkTalk handle so badly, I have experienced it myself despite having tracking details with a confirmation of return.
The support team here will look into this for you as soon as they can.
