i joined talktalk 19/10/2021 but my order was cancelled due to not having the package i wanted and was given another package which i was told was still eligible for the £90 gift card, its been about 3 months and have still not heard anything, was i lied too to stay with talktalk or is there a problem in recieving the giftcard?

yes i used comparethemarket to start the order, the following day i was phoned by someone from talktalk call centre because the fibre package i chose wasnt avaliable in my area and that they would have to cancel my order and that i could start a contract with fibre 35 but i would still recieve the gift card reward after the package went live which was nearly 3 months ago roughly.

Was the gift card provided via a third-party website? If so the order has to go through them and be tracked in order for them to fulfil it. Who "told" you?
