New contract starting before old one runs out!!!!

Talk Talk gave me the chance to renew my contract when the old one runs out which I agreed to, BUT why do they start the new one BEFORE the old one does run out this is a con stealing days that remain on the old contract. Just another way of TALK TALK SCAMMING US.

Perhaps more similar to your gas and electricity deals, @shezza2.

You won't be charged twice! Because Talktalk bills the month in advance, and the new contract kicks in immediately, you may find some complicated maths sorting it out pro rata on the next bill before things settle down.

Why, they should not start till the old one runs out. If you renew your insurance a week before the old one runs out it still does not start till the old one finishes.
