I'm registered as a Nominated User for my parents' TalkTalk account. I tried to access their account over LiveChat. The assistant wouldn't accept my nominated user security details, and instead insisted on having my parents' security details. On the face of it, that seems to negate the whole purpose of being a nominated user. Can anyone explain, and hopefully offer a solution?
(This is a follow-up to my previous post on 12 March. I'm hoping to make a couple of changes to their account, which were suggested by @Arne-TalkTalk, so that I can register them for online access with MyAccount.)

All you details are added to the account, I will review the chat transcript as the agent has not followed the correct process.
If you PM me the details I can make the changes, if recall it was the name on the account holder and a mobile number.
