That error usually means there is no Mobile number on your account, Can you add one to your community profile and I will update your account with it, This will then let you register.

For help with this, @Earnhardt, please add your Talktalk landline number to your community forum profile details.
Go via your avatar/name; settings; launch profile wizard.
Don't post any personal information on the public forum pages.
Only you and staff have access to your profile area. Staff will use the information to identify your account and help you register it online.
I'll escalate this thread for you and it will be in a queue for attention. It can take a few days for staff to reach new threads to reply. They respond Monday to Friday.
Edit: for staff attention, this topic failed to show as automatically escalated until several minutes after the displayed time, by which time I had escalated it again manually......
