Unable to create account after taking over contract

I have recently moved into a flat and taken over the internet contract by sending through the form, which worked fine and the direct debit now comes out of my account. However, I was trying to create an online account but was not able to do this as it said there was an existing account for the account number (presumably the former contract holder).

 

How can I get around this to create an account? I don't have the contact details of the former contract holder if this is something they need to action.

If you would like us to look into this, please can you update your community profile to include your home telephone number, we will then be able to have a look at your  account.

To do this go into 'my settings' then 'personal information' then add your details.
