I noticed today that my monthly direct debit wasn't taken today as usual, and when i checked online it said there was now an outstanding balance?
i went on chat and they said the problem was with my bank, but my bank confirm that everything is fine and direct debit is still active.
i've paid by card but question now is
1 - why didn't talktalk take the payment by direct debit as usual?
2 - will i be charged some kind of late payment fee?
3 - what will happen next month?
4 - my account now shows a pending order of broadband going live today?
any help much appreciated, thanks

i've decided to switch provider now, too many errors being made i'm afraid, and chat service really poor. can you please order me a returns bag for my tv box. i asked on chat but would rather you double checked for me.

It looks like the error was on our side, we seem to have a cancel order from early September, which stopped the Direct debit from being claimed.
The Direct debit will resume next month. There will not be any late payment charges.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
