so I've just paid my talktalk bill today, however the site told me I should renew my contract as my current one will be ending soon, so I did this but what I want to know is will I be charged again this month for the new contract or will I not be charged till next month, my original contract ended in march and I've just paid for February  today.

AllyM is correct you have paid in advance so you wont be charged twice, but your next bill will show any overpayments as a credit on next months bill.

TalkTalk bill you each month one month in advance so the bill you have just paid will be for your old contract for the month ahead. Your new contract will begin from when you renewed and since you have renewed your contract part way through the month any adjustments necessary if the price has changed will be made on your next monthly bill.
