Appallingly slow internet response.

In the past few days the internet response has frequently had drop outs, screen freezes, 'Waiting for response from...' or 'Oooops, can't connect' which a retry usually fixes.  I'm also not able to watch any of the catchup channels because the picture freezes after a minute or two.

 

On the service dashboard yesterday it said there was an ongoing problem in my area (East Grinstead) but today it doen't mention one. 

 

Can someone help please?

BTW, I've done the usual power off/on etc..

The line tests are clear. Have you experienced the drops in connection this afternoon?

Using normal browsing, it appears to be better but the proof will be if I can watch a catchup programme later tonight.  I'm cooking at the moment 🙂
