We have done online check for line to house and internal checks, switched off router several times for more than 20 minutes and the connection still is under 1 Mbs. Often the fast.com dopes check doesn’t even start for a minute or so.
we have also tried my Ethernet cable which made no difference.
we are both business owners and are desperate to get our line back!

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line now which hasn't detected a fault, however I can see that the sync speed has dropped and the connection also looks very unstable. Does your master socket have a test socket? Is the voice service ok? Do you have an alternative router that you can test with?
