I was without broadband for five days was sent new equipment but no deduction I was told it takes 30 days this happened on 15 nov still not sorted,

Whether or not you are eligible for compensation depends on a number of factors. You have to understand that TalkTalk have 2 working days after you report the fault to get it fixed, for example. You should get compensation for any extra working days after that. It's all explained here: About your auto compensation credit - TalkTalk Help & Support
