Hello, my Internet has been down for over 24 hours now. My router just has a flashing orange light. I have tried turning it off and on again, turning it off for over and hour and back on again, pressing the reset button, pressing the reset button down for 30 seconds. Nothing is working and it won't come back on. I work from home and having no Internet is a HUGE problem for me. None of the live chat links work on this site so I'm having to resort to using this forum. Please get back to me and try to help. Thank you

Hi Michelle I managed to get in touch with someone via the chat. An engineer has been booked to replace the router.

Good morning,

 

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line now which hasn't detected a fault. Does your main socket have a test socket? Do you also have an alternative router that you could test with please?

I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and investigate it for you.

They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first.
