Im currently on the fast broadband with home phone.

My contact expires end of Jan 2025.

The only reason I'm staying with talktalk is because my elderly mother relies on her home phone to call me ( she is a talktalk phone customer) so we get free landline calls to each other .My upgrade offer is for broadband 65 at around £36 per month rising in April, however for a new customer it's only £28 a month.I find this strangle bazaar why would I be foolish enough to accept this and frankly an insult for already being a customer.

I'm guessing talktalk don't like holding on to existing customers or offering them any incentives to stay No wonder they are in so much financial trouble.

Hi Jgoods63

I have checked the order and there is no TV added to the order.

Sorry for any confusion.

@Jgoods63, don't worry, it didn't seem to turn up as a PM!

If you reply to notifications by email, your message won't reach anyone  - it's a No Reply email address.

Talktalk always mentions TV in the package description  - you'll see it's mentioned if you check back through old bills. So their TV options are theoretically available, but you need a special hub to use them, as well as pay £5.00.

The core package is confirmed by email  / contract documents, but extras would be listed separately.

Cover on the forum will be patchy over the festive period, so perhaps you'd be better checking back with Chat or phone support as previously suggested.

If there's an extra £5.00 to pay, just ask them to remove it for you.

So my upgrade is due to go live 13th Jan .I upgraded via customer services and to be far offed me a reasonable deal at £25 month, however I noticed when the emails come through about new contract it's mentioning  talktalk TV has been added but it's saying nothing about extra charge for this

service.

I have been reading it's £5 month usually?

Is this a sly add to get more money? as I never asked for talktalk TV to be added.

If it's included free in my upgrade at £25 month fair enough I'll have it but if not I'm not paying and extra £5 for something I don't need.

Can this be checked and possiblity removed if it is going to cost me an extra £5 month on top of the £25.
