Devices not receiving full speed

The connection between my router and the internet seems to be fine (80MB/s) but when I run speedtests on my devices they're only getting around 17MB/s. Is there a router setting that needs changed?

Sorry for late reply, got really busy and didn't have time to turn on laptop again until now

The 30 minute reset worked great, thanks for your help

Are these speed tests, if still slow, on wired (Ethernet) or wirelessly connected devices? If wireless, I can help a lot with this.

Hi DanCFlake

How are you getting on following the 30 minute power down of the router?

Thanks

Debbie

Hi DanCFlake,

Can you switch your router off and leave it off for at least 30 minutes then switch back on and retest, this should resolve the issue.
