Didn't receive WiFi hub for Fibre 500 connection

I only received two eero routers and no WiFi hub. When Openreach engineers had come to do the connection they suggested that i should have received a WiFi hub. I am getting only 90 Mbps speeds as I have used my own old router to connect to the Openreach box and then plugged it into the eero devices. Not getting the 500 Mbps speeds. Was told by the Openreach engineers that it was down to the old router and not having a TalkTalk WiFi hub. Can someone confirm if the hub is expected to be delivered or is that something that i have to purchase separately?

EERO routers are what you get with Future Fibre over the Openreach infrastructure.

You will not be supplied with a HUB.

Your old router may not support higher speeds over LAN, many older models only had 100 Mbps ports.

The EERO should be connected directly to the Openreach modem.
