Hello, I’ve just been upgraded to fibre with a talk talk eero device and I’m really confused about the setup. Am I meant to connect my old router to the eero? If so which device should be connected to the open reach box (the router or the eero device)? If it’s the router which port should I use (is it the wlan port?). Do I then connect the eero to a normal Ethernet port? If I do need both devices connected which WiFi network do I use? The talk talk one or the eero one? The eero seems to work when connected direct to the open reach box but the WiFi range is v short. How can I extend this? The startup guide says not to power off my modem but I don’t know what this is?

The Eero router would replace the old one & if it has a WAN Ethernet port (I haven't seen one), it will connect to the Openreach modem.
